Our rapidly expanding new Chubb Engineering Center in Greece (CECG) is integrated with the Engineering Centers in India and Mexico to support our global technology needs and digital business transformation, as well as the company's operations in the Europe - Middle East - Africa region operating in 27 countries.

Overview

Chubb is seeking for an Operations Specialist to be part of our team. This role will play a critical role in supporting the Operations Team and Center Management by preparing various reports and presentations, managing procurement tasks, and overseeing various operational projects. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments.

Responsibilities:

Reporting and Presentations:

Prepare a range of reports and presentations for the Head of CECG and Operations, ensuring accuracy and clarity. Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for operational improvements.

Procurement Management:

Develop and maintain a Purchase Order (PO) tracking report to ensure timely processing and delivery. Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, ensuring compliance with company policies. Oversee contract processing and maintain a vendor dashboard for reporting purposes.

Project Management:

Lead and manage operations-related projects such as new office setups, GDPR compliance, and other internal initiatives. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and technical teams to ensure successful project execution. Participate as a team member in various projects, contributing expertise and support as needed. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to ensure timely completion.

Center-Wide Initiatives:

Developing and maintaining a knowledge base on Village and Confluence. Organizing hackathons or other innovation initiatives. Coordinate with various stakeholders to align project goals with organizational objectives. Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to ensure project success. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Proven experience in operations, project management, or a similar role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with procurement processes and vendor management is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have fluent written and spoken English at proficiency Level.
