Summary:
The Operations Specialist 2 is responsible for processing the day-to-day operations of our financial services functions, including transaction processing, system monitoring, reporting, and risk management. As a Level 2 specialist, you will work closely with senior team members to ensure the smooth execution of operational tasks and assist in resolving issues efficiently. This position offers a great opportunity to further develop your expertise in financial services operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Efficiently process cases within or better than the approved SLA
+ Escalates complex customer issues as appropriate.
+ Participates in system upgrades and testing.
+ Suggests process improvements and support the implementation of best practices to enhance operational efficiency, reduce risk, and improve service quality.
+ Review and suggest updates to operational procedures to maintain regulatory compliance and mitigate financial risks.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ 3 or more years of work experience in banking
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
+ Strong computer proficiency, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs
+ Analytical skills, with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
+ Ability to collaborate with peers and other leaders
+ Strong interpersonal skills, able to develop, coach and engage team to achieve success

Compensation Range:
20.00 - 30.00 USD Hourly
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
