Our client, a leading organization, is seeking a temporary Safety & Risk Manager to join their team for 6 months!
Responsibilities:
* Develop a tailored risk and safety strategy and ensure emergency preparedness.
* Oversee the security department and collaborate with IT for cybersecurity.
* Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, and other regulations through regular inspections of the facility.
* Prepare detailed reports on risk assessments and reported accidents or incidents.
* Encourage the safety and well-being of all staff through trainings, departmental collaboration, and policy enforcement.
* Preform other related tasks as required.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years of safety or risk management experience are required.
* Experienced in a club, venue, or other entertainment event space is highly desired!
* Familiarity with managing risks related to press or media operations is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of EPA regulations, EHS practices, and OSHA standards.
* CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications are required or must be obtained within 3 months.
Position Information:
* $40/hr-$45/hr, depending on experience.
* Hours are 8:30am-5:30pm.
* Starting ASAP!
* 100% on-site in Washington, DC.
