Credence has an immediate opening for an Operations Resource Analyst to support the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center (AFIMSC). AFIMSC provides essential support to 78 Air Force and Space Force installations, managing an $8 billion budget across various mission-critical functions. To strengthen its data-driven decision-making, AFIMSC’s A9 Directorate seeks operations research and data analytics support through a non-personal services contract. This role will help address Installation & Mission Support challenges by delivering advanced analytical capabilities—such as modeling, AI, and data visualization—to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment with Department of the Air Force priorities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed belowModeling & Simulation Support
Implement discrete-event simulations using COTS and government-owned models to assess airbase capabilities and campaign objectivesIntegrate simulation outputs with other models and tools to support wargaming and resiliency analysisDevelop experiment designs and analyze airbase damage response to various threat scenariosPerformance Metrics & Data Analytics
Develop and enhance automated processes for collecting, analyzing, and reporting performance metrics across 78 installationsCreate new metrics and tools to support leadership decision-makingAnalyze data from BUILDER, PAVER, and other mission support databasesAutomation & Process Optimization
Design and implement automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, UiPath, and other workflow toolsIdentify and develop optimization models to improve cost, time, and operational efficiencyVisualization & Decision Support
Create dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, and other tools to communicate complex data insightsSupport PRISM and ATLAS initiatives by developing performance, health, and risk dashboards across the I&MS portfolioStrategic & Ad Hoc Support
Support SAF/HAF/MAJCOM-focused analytical projects and high-priority initiativesAssist with innovation events, strategic basing, and enterprise planning transformationProvide geospatial analysis and support for infrastructure and mission planningAI & Predictive Analytics
Utilize AI and machine learning to enhance predictive modeling for infrastructure degradation and maintenance planningDevelop robotic process automation (RPA) to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency Education, Requirements and Qualifications Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearanceBachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)5+ years of experience in operations analysis, modeling & simulation, or data analyticsProficiency in simulation tools, data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath)Experience with BUILDER, PAVER, and other DoD data systemsStrong understanding of Air Force mission support functions and infrastructure managementExcellent communication and presentation skillsPreferred Qualifications
