We are seeking an Operations Research Analyst (Data & Readiness) to support AFRC A7 training and certification exercises. This role bridges raw exercise data with actionable insights that will help translate outcomes into readiness reporting and guiding mission growth.
Responsibilities• Collect, manage, and analyze data from AFRC A7 exercises and readiness events.
• Develop metrics, dashboards, and reports that assess training effectiveness and readiness outcomes.
• Support development of After-Action Reports, Corrective Action Plans, and readiness assessments.
• Provide data-driven insights to align exercises with force-generation requirements.
• Track corrective actions and readiness improvements over time.
• Collaborate with exercise planners, evaluators, and AFRC A7 leadership to ensure data informs operational decisions.
• Bachelor degree in Operations Research, Data Science, Statistics preferred.
• 3–5+ years of experience in operational analysis, readiness assessment, or related field.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior leaders.
• Familiarity with DoD planning cycles and readiness reporting processes.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, Python, R, or equivalent).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold and be able to maintain an active Secret clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
