We are seeking an Operations Research Analyst to join our team and conduct assessments and studies in support of the United States Space Force at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, CO. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualified candidates will serve on an analysis team of operations research analysts and operational military subject matter experts. Qualifications should include the ability to coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and clarify management objectives. The analyst will work as part of a contractor team working alongside a broader team of government and contract staff.

Experience with military operational assessments and in-depth experience with Space Force missions and operations are highly desired.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in operations research, mathematics, statistics, data science, or other technical field7+ years of experienceGeneral understanding of the United States Space Force missions and operationsWillingness to learn about DoD space and joint force programsCreativity and flexibility to work in a dynamic environmentAbility to work well as part of a teamHigh motivation to provide decision-quality information and recommendations to senior leadersAn active TS/SCI security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Master of Science degree in operations research or related technical fieldKnowledge of space operations, space capabilities, or experience in DoD space and joint force programsFamiliarity with at least one of the Space Deltas and their respective mission areasExecutive briefing skillsExperience with Python, R, or other analytic softwareExperience with software development or the development of web-based applicationsExperience building analytic dashboards with visualizations of the underlying data

Compensation:

For Colorado: The salary range for this position is approximately $130,000 - $145,000.

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Other Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
