Operations Quality Technician

Job Description

As an Operations Quality Technician, you will be responsible for writing, reviewing, and approving qualification and validation protocols for new or transferred equipment and packaging designs. You will collaborate with engineering teams to create test plans and ensure that equipment and packaging meet validation requirements. Your role will include performing operational testing and ensuring compliance with lab protocols and regulatory standards.

ResponsibilitiesWrite, review, and approve qualification and validation protocols, including IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols.Support CI Engineering in executing equipment and packaging qualification and validation protocols.Collaborate with engineering to create test plans and timelines for new/transferred manufacturing equipment and packaging designs.Evaluate equipment or new packaging for validation requirements.Perform operational testing of small to medium scale semi-automated manufacturing equipment and create operation and debugging procedures.Execute internal and external testing for new packaging, coordinating with third-party testing facilities as needed.Understand and follow standard operating procedures, including regulatory awareness of chemical handling and compliance.Communicate clearly and effectively with team members.Essential Skills1-2 years of technical experience in a life sciences or related field.Experience with writing and executing qualification and validation protocols.Technical experience with manufacturing and automation equipment.Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.Ability to pick up heavy items (5-50lbs).Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience operating or working on small to medium range filling, capping, and/or labeling equipment.Experience in an ISO or GMP biotech environment.Experience in a lab or pharmaceutical setting.Associates Degree.Experience writing SOPs for equipment, IQ, OQ, PQ.Packaging experience and equipment validation experience are advantageous.Work Environment

This position involves working in a lab and equipment setting within a clean room environment. The work requires adherence to strict cleanliness and safety protocols.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
