Operations Quality Analyst
Req ID: 127574 Remote Position: No Region: Asia Country: Malaysia State/Province: Johor City: Johor Bahru **Summary** As a **Quality Analyst** , you'll be at the forefront of our quality management efforts, covering **Quality Planning/Prevention, Corrective Actions, and Continual Improvement** . You'll work closely with the team to achieve key quality performance indicators (KPIs). **Detailed Description** Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: + **Manage all quality excursions** , taking effective actions and following proper escalation procedures. + **Support and monitor product and material quality** from New Product Introduction (NPI) through mass production, including First Article Inspection (FAI), Inspection Plans (IP), and Work Instructions (WI), while adhering to industry-specific protocols. + **Help develop quality control plans** for materials, processes, and products. + **Analyze, monitor, and report on key quality KPIs** for both internal factory operations and external customers. This includes metrics like Rolled First Pass Yield (RFPY), Out of Box Audit (OBA), Returned Material Authorization (RMA), Delivered Product Quality Level (DPQL), Customer Feedback, Line Reject Rate (LRR), Receiving Inspection Flag (RI Flag), and World Wide Quality Alerts (WWQA). + **Drive continuous improvement initiatives** that benefit our customers, CLS, and suppliers. + **Draft internal quality system procedures** , work instructions, and workmanship standards. + **Support audits** (process, product, system, supplier, industry standards like ISO, compliance, and safety) and follow up on improvement actions. + **Track Engineering Changes (EC) and Supplier Process Change Notifications (SPCN)** to ensure timely and accurate implementation of all changes, whether internal or external. + **Enhance quality skills and product knowledge** through participation in training programs. + **Complete assigned tasks** from your superior and contribute to our overall quality strategy deployment. **Knowledge/Skills/Competencies** + **4-6 years of relevant experience** in outgoing inspection or manufacturing. + **Preferably a Bachelor's degree** or an equivalent combination of education and experience. + **Strong knowledge of quality tools** , ISO, and IPC standards and processes. + **Proficiency with software** used for generating, capturing, and presenting quality data in an understandable format. + **Solid understanding of manufacturing processes** and quality tools such as FMEA, PMP, SPC, and 8D methodology. + **Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean Kaizen principles.** + **Understanding of the business unit** and how decisions impact customer satisfaction, product quality, on-time delivery, and profitability. + **Ability to communicate effectively** with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. **Notes** This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities of the position.
