THE WORK
This role will include CAM responsibility and ownership of cost, quality, and schedule performance for their assigned programs\.
The role also serves as the primary liaison between the program office and Operations to meet our customer requirements, as well as leading the Operations IPT to meet our program commitments\.
Specific tasks will include
\- Supporting proposals
\- Conducting new program launches and leading the team
through end item material delivery
\- Setting up manufacturing budgets and executing earned value requirements
\- Coordinating with the IPT to ensure on time deliveries
\- Analyzing and updating program schedules
\- Working with the IPT to develop production startup requirements
\- Supporting execution of existing production lines
\- Identifying and coordinating implementation of internal process improvements
\- Supporting and participating in programmatic and technical reviews, briefings, and meetings
WHO WE ARE
Our functional group, the Production Operations Test Team, is composed of 32 professionals with a common purpose to provide the pilots of the United States and our Allies with high quality pilot training devices\. We are the connection between each program’s development engineers who integrate new capabilities into subsystems and the remainder of our Production Operations organization who manufacture high quality components in repeatable processes\. We have a unique role that gains expertise in both deployable hardware and deployable software\.
WHO YOU ARE
You are a Project Manager supporting RMS production operations\. This role will support various production programs operating at both the Orlando, FL and La Mesa, Mexico production plant which are then delivered to various RMS plants\. Your primary focus for this job is production operating out of the La Mesa, MX production plant\. Travel into Mexico is considered a must to be successful in this job\.

**Basic Qualifications:**
\- Project Management skills
\- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
\- Understanding of Earned Value Management Systems \(EVMS\) practices, principles, compliance regulations
\- Highly proficient in MS Office suite of tools to include performance metric creation
\- Able to travel internationally \(Mexico\)
**Desired Skills:**
\- Ability to develop, coordinate, lead, and execute daily priorities
\- Experience coordinating tasks and actions with multiple functions
\- Motivational skills along with the ability to energize teams
\- Experience with SAP/COS, or equivalent Material Requirements Planning \(MRP\) tools
\- CAM certification and/or experience
\- Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline
\- LM21 Green Belt, Black Belt or equivalent Lean/Six Sigma training
\- Able to speak Spanish

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 \- $150,765\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\. **Benefits offered:** Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short\-Term Disability, Long\-Term Disability, 401\(k\) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays\. \(Washington state applicants only\) Non\-represented full\-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off \(PTO\) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays\. Represented full time employees accrue 6\.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays\. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year\. This position is incentive plan eligible\.
