Operations Manager - Technical
**This position is contingent upon contract award** Amentum is seeking an experienced **Operations Manager - Technical** to support a future shipbuilding acquisition program management services contract for US Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Team Submarine (TEAM SUB). **Primary Responsibilities:** + Oversees the staff and manages activities of the Technical Operations Department of an organization. + Plans, coordinates, and executes the design, development, testing, and installation of all technical components of a project, working with the entire technical team and with outsourcing companies or external clients. + Analyzes reports and supervises the development of each project. Responds quickly to emergencies or questionable matters. + Provides advice and direction to staff, and assures staff complies with technical guidelines and regulations. + Recommends ideas for potential improvements, and anticipates future needs. + Communicates the technical operations with other departments, keeping track of the company's business plan. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance. + Minimum of 10 years experience with Navy Programs + Must be capable of leading a project and interfacing with an end item customer **Desired Qualifications:** + BS/BA Degree + 10 years experience with DOD acquisition / In-Service Programs + 5 years experience working with submarine/combat systems **Compensation & Benefits** HIRING SALARY RANGE: $100000 - $150000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
