Job Summary
Job Description:Take the lead in elevating every experience! As an Operations Manager for Levy at Stanford University, you’ll oversee day-to-day venue operations, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure Levy’s service standards shine across all departments. You’ll drive results, ensure consistency, and keep the energy high from setup to closing. You will drive team performance, oversee inventory and financials, and collaborate cross-functionally to make each event a success. You will be responsible for leading and motivating our hourly team members to provide a warm welcome and delicious food to our guests.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field
+ 3–5 years of experience managing operations in a high-volume environment
+ Proficiency in inventory systems, labor management tools, and POS platforms
+ Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and HR procedures
+ Ability to manage budgets, scheduling, and financial reporting
+ Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
+ Capable of walking for long periods, escpecially on event days
+ Required availability includes, weekends, holidays, and eventing

+ Oversee daily operations across foodservice, guest services, and back-of-house
+ Supervise department managers and lead by example on service excellence
+ Ensure labor, inventory, and cost control systems are optimized
+ Collaborate with culinary, HR, and premium teams to align service goals
+ Maintain venue readiness and resolve on-site issues quickly
+ Monitor performance metrics and provide leadership development
