Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure efficient and cost-effective production results. Each day, you will be responsible to meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and production processes (quantity, quality, budgeted costs, and proper productivity level). You will also showcase your expertise by developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations.The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-OnsiteGlobal relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.This role is contributing to the factory of Electrification Smart Buildings division in Ramos Arizpe.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tMonitoring plan implementation and tracking any deviations for corrective action.•\tPreparing annual budget, overseeing progress, and determining measures to address cost-related issues as necessary, to manage operations within the allocated budget and resources.•\tDeveloping programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations.•\tEnsuring that the organization takes into account an overall value chain perspective to meet customer expectations as per agreed quality, service levels, and lead time.Our team dynamicsYou will join a high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

\tYou have experience in the operations area (production) in the industry or a similar field.\tAbility to demonstrate skills in leading complex multidisciplinary teams.\tYou have experience managing indicators (KPIs) with positive results.\tAbility to develop and implement strategies aligned with global guidelines.\tKnowledge in quality, manufacturing, demand planning, or continuous improvement is an asset.\tExperience in the electrification industry is a plus.\tExperience with SAP is valuable.\tYou can communicate easily in English at a fluent level.\tYou have completed a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
