Operations Manager - Legal Services - Writs and Levies
**About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Manager within Legal Services for Writs and Levies. **In this role, you will:** + Manage and develop one or more specialized customer service and operations functional teams within Operations area with complex and risk in functional area + Develop strategies to improve staffing processes, ensure specialized functions meet regulatory guidelines in support of risk management and compliance + Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated within the Operations area + Work independently on moderately complex issues and projects + Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development and escalates issues to more experienced management + Provide training, performance, evaluation and coaching of less experienced team + Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives and operations of functional area and team to meet business objectives + Interpret and develop policies and procedures for operation functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibility + Provide responsibility for budget and financial performance + Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers + Lead team to achieve objectives + Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Operations + Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent **Required Qualifications:** + 4+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education + 2+ years of leadership experience **Desired Qualifications:** + Background with legal orders such as Writs, Levies, or court orders + Strong attention to detail + Strong pipeline management + Hogan system experience + Ability to interact with all levels of an organization including senior leadership/management + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills + Advanced Microsoft Office skills + Workforce management experience including directing activities of team members, performance management, career development, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning + Ability to anticipate and make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment + Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change + Experience with capacity planning, forecasting, process improvement, and measurements + Ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels + Ability to provide strong customer service and develop customer and partner relationships + Proven analytical skills and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated experience in trend analysis and recommending appropriate changes to identify and address root cause. **Job Expectations:** + Ability to work on-site at one of the posted work locations (Hybrid 1 week in office, 1 week work from home). + Position will be 8:30 am to 5:00 pm local time - though there is an open-ended requirement to support business needs and volumes as department largely has same day SLA requirements. + May include occasional Saturdays, though unlikely. **Location:** + 800 S Jordan Creek Pkwy West Des Moines, IA This position is within Legal Services, which part of the Banking Operations group.
