Job Overview The USCG IPT is seeking an Operations Manager III (Cybersecurity) to support the US Coast Guard Acquisition team and provide day-to-day cyber program support to the Coast Guard. This position will serve as a technical leader undertaking complex initiatives requiring specialized cybersecurity documentation. The candidate must be self-motivated, able to solve problems, think outside the box, and have a strong work ethic. The Candidate must have the ability to collaborate and communicate in a team environment but also work independently to complete assigned tasking. This position will work out of the Washington, DC. Occasional travel may be required. Work Model: Onsite/In-Office Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions: Management of Program Office cybersecurity documentation (Security Classification Guide, Acquisition Cybersecurity Security Plan, Risk Assessment Reports) Review of contractor security plan, TEMPEST plan, cybersecurity plans Act as a liaison between System Owners and RMF team, verifying RMF artifacts and body of evidence for accuracy and completeness Participate in system analysis to validate privacy threshold analysis documentation and FIPS-199 categorizations. Management of contractor cybersecurity contract requirements Creation of system level documentation for RMF Body of Evidence, including contingency plans, incident response plans Other duties as assigned. Accountable For: Ability to act as the program office cybersecurity liaison in working group meetings for system development with contractor. Ability to participate in program office Program Protection IPT Job Requirements Mandatory Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity/Information Assurance Engineering, or Mathematics is preferred, but experience may be substituted for degree. Recent experience with DHS, DoD, or other government agency in IT to include IA support with fifteen (15) years’ experience in Information Assurance/Cybersecurity. Certification required – CISSO, CISM, CISSP. Must be able to obtain a SECRET Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test. Preferred: IT Certifications preferred, GSE. Working Conditions: Office environment.
