Description
Responsible for the complete management of warehouse processes (Inbound or Outbound) in a specific shift or multiple shifts.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Area Managers and associates in operations
- Ensure safety, quality, and operation performance
- Achieve and exceed operational goals
- Develop strategic planning and forecasts
- Mentoring and team development
- Implement process improvements
Management:
- Reports to the Senior Process Manager
- Lead Area team/Team Managers
- Manages approximately 300 direct/indirect employees with variations depending on the period
- Interface with support areas (HR, Finance, Facilities, Security, IT)
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work on a 3x2 scale (3 working days with 3 days off, 2 working days with 2 days off)
- 12-hour shifts (day shift: 06:00 to 18:00 or night shift: 18:00 to 05:00)
- Willingness to work on weekends
- Capacity to lift up to 22kg
- Walking long distances in the warehouse
- Stay standing for up to 12 hours
- Adapt to different environmental conditions
- Access all areas of the building (stairs, sailor-type stairs)
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Employee and performance management experience
- Advanced English skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
