Summary Job title: Operations Manager Job ID: 202528920004 Department: Hartford - APE Location: CT-Enfield Description Summary: Responsible for operational management within the Enfield, CT facility, focusing on Purchasing, Inventory Management, Vendor Relations, and Internal Process Improvement Reports to: Construction Sales Manager and Profit Center Manager Minimum Qualifications: + College Degree or 5 years of relevant work experience + Proven work experience in a management role Preferred Qualifications: + Two or more years of Operations Management Experience + Electrical Distribution or similar Distribution experience ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES: + Hard working and eager to learn + Effective communicator + Ability to motivate and lead others + Proficient with Windows Office programs + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills + Motivated and driven to be the best + Strong analytical skills + Ability to evaluate tough situations and determine a course of action + Familiar with business operating systems + Understanding of accounting paperwork flow + Ability to develop workflow charts + Experience developing new processes and implementation Working Conditions: Standard office environment and distribution warehouse environment. Most days will be spent in the office but there will be time spent working with our warehouse team, vendors, and customers. Supervisory Responsibilities: No Essential Job Functions: + Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate and cost-effective way. + Team effort with PC Manager and Sales Team on recruiting and hiring + Meet Purchasing needs for the facility + Inventory management in line with the PCs Backlog and historic trends + Work together with PC Manager and Sales Manager to grow and expand the business. + Periodic evaluation of current processes and determine areas for improvement. + Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
