The Operations Manager’s primary role is to optimize day-to-day activities supporting a variety of operational and accounting tasks in the operations department. Must be able to accurately compute, report and verify numerical data in a professional and knowledgeable manner; ensuring adherence to company policies and general accounting principles.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide direction and support daily operational activities of certain operations team members whose roles are responsible for resolving transactional accounting errors, central billing and government payables.Financial budget to actual variance analyses, performing producer compensation audits to ensure accurate payouts.Real Estate and facilities management with duties ranging from lease renewals, working with property management, maintenance, office moves, client, vendor, carrier notifications. Establishes and maintains effective communication and coordination with company personnel and with management.Perform recommended business management systems quality control audits and monitor production key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure consistent high-quality output.Analyze and improve operational processes, identify areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase productivity and efficiency.Meet or exceed requirements including organizational, state, compliance and contractual agreements.Develop and implement an effective auditing/remediation process that ensures workflows are meeting expected standards.The essential duties contained in this job description reflect general details as necessary to describe the principal functions of this job, the level of knowledge and skill typically required and the scope of responsibility.
