Our manufacturing client is seeking an Operations Manager to join their plant in Greer, SC. The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all production operations within the department, leading a team of supervisors, leads, temporary staff, and full-time associates. This role focuses on enhancing safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness through individual and team efforts. Key responsibilities include managing daily operations, coordinating production to meet sales and inventory goals, implementing departmental policies and KPIs, and driving continuous improvement using LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies. The Operations Manager leads the Safety Committee, ensures compliance with training and safety standards, and fosters a positive work environment through employee engagement and coaching. Additional duties include staffing, performance management, troubleshooting, cross-department collaboration, and shift support as needed.
