Job Title: Operations Manager
Job Summary:
Assumes the overall responsibility for the management and daily operations within the specified account. Provide leadership to facility coordinators and work alongside the Account Director and Regional Business Managers to maneuver the account both strategically and tactically. Ensure procedures and practices are uniform throughout regions and distributed internally and/or to the customer accurately and in a timely manner. Assumes responsibility for the Learning Care Group account when the Account Director is on vacation or unavailable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Portfolio Management: Manage and update all systems and services related to active or inactive schools on a continued and frequent basis Lead, coach and mentor assigned Facility Coordinator’s in order to drive growth and development; Cross-functionally lead and partner with members of the account team, procurement, finance, HR, and the EMCOR Field Organization in order to accomplish account objectives Managed Services Management: Oversee vendor performance and service delivery of landscape, snow removal, pest control, fire protection, and subcontracted HVAC services across the account Process Improvement: Identify areas for continuous improvement across all aspects of the account and implement new processes and/or technology as needed Relationship Management: Engage in active communication with LCG Regional Facility Manager(s), LCG Project Team, LCG DVP’s / DM’s, EMCOR Account Team and the EMCOR Field Organization Special Project Management: Lead, coordinate and facilitate all special customer projects or events including but not limited to catastrophe-relief, licensing and school accreditation Investigate any safety-related issues and address appropriatelyQualifications:
BA Degree Preferred 3-5 years in Facility Management Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspond accordingly. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumferences, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry Microsoft Excel, and the ability to learn to navigate a CMMS system Strong Organization and Analytical Skills Flexibility – able to react and perform in a changing environment Adaptability – able to work within the confines of our customer, Learning Care Group Leadership – able to effectively lead and manage othersNotice to prospective employees: There have been fraudulent postings and emails regarding job openings.
