Description
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and streamline organizational processes within our firm in Santa Barbara, California. This role is integral in managing operations, supporting strategic growth initiatives, and fostering a collaborative work environment across teams. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in operations management, human resources, and compliance while ensuring the highest level of client and team satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Lead firmwide projects and implement growth initiatives in collaboration with leadership.
• Organize and prepare presentations for meetings, retreats, and monthly team sessions.
• Maintain and update policies and procedures manuals to ensure alignment with organizational needs.
• Oversee billing processes and manage office expenses, including supply orders.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to Associate Advisors and Client Service Administrators.
• Conduct hiring, termination processes, and manage employee relations, including performance reviews and payroll approvals.
• Enhance employee culture through team-building activities, celebrations, and appreciation events.
• Support complex client service needs and manage escalations with custodians.
• Research and implement cutting-edge technology solutions, provide training, and troubleshoot issues.
• Monitor compliance by researching industry regulations and attending relevant training programs.
Requirements • Proven experience in operations management, preferably within wealth management or financial services.
• Strong background in human resources administration, including hiring, payroll, and employee relations.
• Expertise in managing firmwide projects and implementing strategic initiatives.
• Proficiency in technology integrations and data management systems such as Salesforce and Orion.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively lead teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to maintain compliance with industry standards and ethical practices.
• Demonstrated ability to foster a positive workplace culture and enhance team satisfaction.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in handling billing, expenses, and client service needs.
