The Client:
An established, successful global investment firm that has an entrepreneurial and collegiate ethos.
The Role:
This is a fantastic Operations position which is varied & requires a genuinely hands on and organised approach. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Office and facilities management
Working with the building manager on other building management areas
Working the reception team and taking ultimate responsibility for visitor's experience, as well as working with the IT/Tech team to ensure phone systems are working efficiently
Building and maintaining relationships with current and new suppliers and venues. Hands on management and day to day responsibility including liaising with vendors, answering ad-hoc queries, problem-solving
Overseeing office security
Ensuring the office is kept clean and tidy at all times which will include hands on involvement, includes for instance cupboards, kitchens, coat cupboards and shower rooms etc
Managing the cleaning staff
Involvement and coordination of the office move, liaising with senior stakeholders
Candidate Specification:
Prior experience in a 'lynchpin' Operations role
Experience of being responsible for an office move highly desirable
Financial services, boutique, investment/asset management background desirable
Highly team-oriented with a muck-in, 'no job too big or small' attitude
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Organised and proactive, able to manage tasks and solve problems efficiently
Adaptable and resourceful in a fast-paced environment
Additional Information:
FTE salary £40-80k depending on experience
Core hours are 9-6pm
Fully office based
