Operations Manager, Financial Products

**About the Role**
As an Operations Manager in the Financial Business Group, you will help shape and expand our financial products portfolio, define and operationalize business program strategies, set internal & external targets and monitor product performance to drive growth. Your role will be specifically focused on Financial Products that we’re building at Uber to cater to Earner needs, including payout products, payment card offerings and financing options.
**What the Candidate Will Do: Need / Bonus Points**
- Develop and implement a Program Strategy for Earner Financial Product solutions in EMEA.
- Conduct market and competitor research to help shape our Financial Services vision.
- Analyze product, program and partnership performance using data to inform business decisions.
- Scale new and existing processes to allow the business to grow profitability.
- Monitor financial variances and identify trends stemming from the marketplace or user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Operations, Community Operations, Legal, Tax, Marketing etc. to improve processes and explore opportunities.
**What the Candidate Will Need / Basic Qualifications:**
- Problem solving - Ability to address issues involving people, processes, and data by identifying root causes and using logical, data-driven approaches.
- Strong analytical skills to set and track metrics effectively and derive insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- Motivated self-starter that can work independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, finance, economics, engineering, etc.) is a plus.
- 3+ years of work experience in a high performing role in a startup, strategy, operations, analytics, payments/fintech, or consulting.
**Preferred Qualifications / Bonus Points:**
- Experience working in or an understanding of the key markets in EMEA.
- Good communication skills that will allow you to clearly explain your work and participate in constructive debate.
- Interpersonal and influencing skills for effective partnerships across multiple levels and functions, internally and externally.
- Proficiency in SQL.
