Operations Management Specialist

If you have the qualities and drive to lead yourself or teams, there are roles ready to cultivate your skills and take you to the next level. **Job Description:** Supervises daily activities of drivers and package handlers to ensure that all assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely. Supervisors typically work Monday through Friday however, weekend work may be required based upon location and business needs. Part-time management employees are generally expected to work 5 1/2 hours per day and are paid weekly. Medical, dental, and vision benefits are offered to employees and their eligible dependents. Additional benefits include educational assistance, 401K, discounted stock, and paid vacations/holidays. + **Place of Work:** 65 TRILLIUM PARK PLACE KITCHENER, ON N2E 1X1 Canada + **Shift Days/Time:** Monday – Friday 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM EST. **JOB REQUIREMENTS** + Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of drivers and package handlers + Ensure operational tasks are completed safely and efficiently + Verify and submit employee timecards accurately + Effectively direct and support team members in a fast-paced environment + Handle incoming calls and provide excellent internal and external customer service + Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management + Maintain clear communication with team members and leadership + Other duties as assigned based on operational needs **Qualifications & Skills** + Strong customer service and communication skills + Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) + Strong reasoning and problem-solving abilities + Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset + Ability to adapt to flexible schedules, including overtime and shift changes **COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:** + Weekly Pay via Direct Deposit- Every Friday + Personal paid days off (Eligibility Requirements) + 2 weeks of paid vacation after 1 year of service (3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 20 years, and 6 weeks after 25 years) + Extended Health Care Benefits –(Vision, health, life insurance, and dental benefits after one year of service) + Immediate access to UPS ‘Employee Discounts’ + Free Onsite Parking + Employee Referral Bonus Program (conditions apply) + Employee Assistance Program (EAP) + Opportunity for advancement within a Fortune 50 Company UPS is a diverse and equal opportunity employer.
