UGL Defence has recently commenced an Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance contract for the Defence Fuels network.We are recruiting a Operations Maintenance Superintendent NSW to join our business in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.
The Opportunity
The OM Superintendent, reporting to the National OM Manager, will be responsible for the effective operation and maintenance of various assets and sites throughout NSW.
Key responsibilities:
Lead, motivate and manage a team of Supervisors and approximately Trades and OperatorsManage the delivery of Operations and Maintenance in line with business planCollaborate with other teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of the Asset Management plansTake ownership of OM budget performance and meaningfully contribute to annual business plan and contact status reportingChampion the best practice HSSE Management, UGL and Defence best practices and the One HSE Culture across all sites in region through promotion setting clear expectationsBased out of the project hub in North Sydney with regular travel required to sites; predominately located near Sydney with some regional locations

Extensive experience working in the Petrochemical, Oil Gas or similar, with significant as a leader and manager Proven experience in the management and delivery of Operations or Maintenance is essential, both would be highly regardedRelevant trade (mechanical/electrical) is within Fuel OperationsPrior experience in Defence Fuels will be highly regardedExcellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at various levels Must be Australian Citizen to be able to obtain NV-1 security clearanceNext Steps
