Operations Maintenance Coordinator

They control the unit maintenance budget and maintain the maintenance notification/work order backlog. Also chairs daily meetings on converting notifications to work orders and facilitates and tracks scheduled maintenance work. **What will be expected from you?** + Responsible for the safe work performance of all personnel in area of responsibility. + Responsible for promoting and maintaining a clean and environmentally safe facility. + Encourage and target a zero safety and environmental incident rate for unit. Instill by example a high degree of safety and environmental work ethic. + Participates in monthly safety walks in area and ensures follow-up on findings. + Attend monthly safety meetings. + Responsible for communicating with Maintenance Team Leaders as necessary to allocate staffing, tools, and equipment to facilitate smooth execution of work. + Responsible for chairing weekly Gatekeeper Meeting with MTL and Planner. This meeting will consist of discussions of notifications (e.g. what needs to be converted to work orders), and review of the backlog of the work orders to see what should be planned next and what should be selected from the work orders that are already planned for scheduling. + Works with Operations Coordinator to establish maintenance work priorities. + Chairs daily meeting with Maintenance Team Leader, Planner, and Operations Coordinator (as needed) to review daily work, next day activities, and changes in priorities. + Upon approval by Operations Coordinators and Area Managers, approves daily overtime. Communicates needs to Maintenance Team Leader. + Responsible for area maintenance budget control. Maintains a cost ledger for all work (planned and unplanned) with estimated or actual cost (with input from Planners, MTLs, contractor quotes, etc.). Runs and reviews SAP cost transactions to track both actual cost and actual vs. planned cost. + Sets up spare equipment fitness evaluations with appropriate Team Leader prior to working scheduled equipment repairs. + Keeper of the maintenance backlog. In conjunction with Operations Coordinator, determines what notifications are changed to work orders and planned. + Writes work orders for unplanned maintenance activities. Ensures accurate estimate of this work. Writes the requisitions for unplanned work. + Ensures Maintenance Team Leaders complete (TECO) work orders as required. + Participates in Maintenance KPI meetings. + Participates in Weekly Resource Allocation Meeting with planners and scheduler. + Ensure that the activities are carried out to comply with the integrated management system, as applicable (safety, food safety, GMP, health, environmental, quality and responsible care requirements). + Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed. If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives. + Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives. + Assists other employees in accomplishments of Indorama company goals. Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor. + Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company. Participates in and completes company required training programs. **What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?** + HS diploma or equivalent and Minimum of 5 years relevant maintenance/operations/logistics experience in a petrochemical or refining process industry required. + Associate degree in Process Operating Technology or related field preferred. + Internet, Email and Microsoft Office programs + Must be able to understand unit processes and be action oriented in order to make knowledgeable, timely decisions relating to unit maintenance coordination. + Must be capable of developing and managing the maintenance needs of the operations group through effective prioritization and resource utilization. + Experience with SAP or other maintenance work order software preferred. + Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skills. + Must have consistent track record of demonstrating leadership. **What do we offer?** A competitive compensation package, including: • Health insurance • WellHub / TotalPass • Life insurance • And other exclusive benefits The division you’ll be joining is a global leader in the chemical industry.
