Wesco is opening a brand-new warehouse facility in Abilene, TX — and we’re looking for a motivated, organized, and detail-driven Operations Coordinator to help us launch it successfully. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being at the center of the action, this role is your chance to play a key part in building something from the ground up.

Location: Abilene, TX (specific details will be shared during hiring process. Will likely require training in the Dallas/Fort Worth area)

Schedule: This is 24/7 facility, and we will be hiring for 2 different shift times in this role, all working for 10 hours per day with a 1-hour lunch break:

Monday through Thursday 8am-7pm Tuesday through Friday 8am-7pm

What You’ll Do: A Day in the Life

As an Operations Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to person for logistics and order flow. You’ll support daily warehouse operations and ensure everything runs smoothly — from order routing to documentation. No two days will be the same, but your efforts will always keep things moving forward.

Your day-to-day will include:

Coordinating the logistics of inbound and outbound deliveries Managing daily task and order flow using our warehouse management system Communicating with managers and supervisors to keep teams and timelines aligned Acting as a team lead on small projects and process improvements Supporting the team with documentation, problem-solving, and prioritization Anticipating roadblocks and working with leadership to quickly resolve issues

What You Bring to the Table

High school diploma or equivalent (required) 3+ years of order management experience in a warehouse or production setting (required) Experience with logistics or warehouse operations (preferred) Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure Comfort lifting up to 50 pounds and being on your feet for extended periods Familiarity with basic computer systems and warehouse software
