What You will Do:
The individual will need to act as the operations lead for all business, operational and personnel responsibilities for an organization of 100+ employeesYou will be responsible for growing the business by responding to opportunities, generating and maintaining relationships with customers and ensuring operational excellence on current workThe individual will interface directly with the employees supporting Operations and Quality functions to understand their technical needs and translate into daily deliverables for the team to executeYou will need to guide and mentor direct employees and their teams to ensure technical and professional growthYou will need to define and monitor Key Result Areas for employees to provide goals and targets for each individual or team through the fiscal yearYou will be required to create plans to ramp up or down headcount, provide financial forecasting and project additional infrastructure requirementsYou will be required to manage a number of key metrics such as revenue, contribution margin, headcount, etc. to ensure success of the organizationYou must oversee all project management activities your Project Leads are performing including Quotation and SOW reviews, project set-up within our integrated project management system, project budget analysis, and project closureIn some cases, you will be responsible for the direct management of projects to ensure project and quality compliance as well as customer satisfaction
How You Will Get Here:
Demonstrate experience commensurate with the required roleHighlight experience developing business with customers across multiple sites / geographiesOutline experience managing key operational areas like workload forecasting, employee culture, deliverable quality, etc.Show a history of rapidly quoting and staffing new opportunitiesEnsure profitability targets across the team but properly staffing and utilizing team members
Work Experience
7+ years of overall experience and 5+ years in a leadership position
Experience leading a multi-level organization
Experience developing leaders within a team
Experience with staffing
Experience with proposal development
Experience with aerospace preferred
Work Requirements:
We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align with company policies. This position is preferably based in Phoenix, AZ and is considered hybrid with 2 days preferred on-site.
Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required
Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 15% of travel is required
