The Operations Executive – Transportation to manage and coordinate transportation activities at our Welisara facility in Sri Lanka. This role is critical to ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods, managing fleet operations, and supporting overall logistics performance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in transportation planning, vehicle scheduling, and team coordination within a fast-paced logistics environment.Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily transport operations to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.Manage and monitor fleet performance, vehicle availability, and maintenance schedules.Coordinate with warehouse, customer care, and delivery teams to align dispatch and routing plans.Ensure all transport activities comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Monitor driver performance, fuel usage, and trip efficiency, identifying areas for improvement.Handle transport-related documentation including delivery notes, trip logs, and vehicle inspection reports.Resolve any transport issues or delays promptly, communicating effectively with all stakeholders.Maintain close communication with external transport service providers and internal teams.Support route optimization and cost-effective delivery solutions.Assist in managing and guiding drivers and transport staff to ensure service targets are met.
