**Role Description**
The Operations Executive position works with Diageo Sales, Diageo Trade Marketing, Modern Channel clients, and Merchandising Agencies to implement activation and commercial plans at points of sale. This role ensures accurate implementation and finds opportunities for continuous improvement by incorporating evaluations and takeaways into channel plan designs.
The position leads execution through the merchandising team and requires management of sales important metrics, execution plans, action plans, and tracking of commercial and marketing plans. The focus is on delivering sales results, brilliant point-of-sale execution, and on-the-ground team training.
**Responsibilities**
Reports to the Modern Channel Commercial Manager in Chile
Maintains constant communication with Key Accounts, Execution Agencies, and internal roles to ensure POS operations
Influences both internal and external teams focusing on brilliant point-of-sale execution in line with the channel's commercial plan according to the activation calendar
Supervises results and generates plans to meet targets
Requires strong relationship-building skills to achieve results through execution teams across Chile
**Encouraged Outcomes**
Responsible for ensuring product availability on shelves, minimizing stockpots, leading stock levels in-store, and inventory adjustments
Responsible for driving points of sale and supervising marketing campaigns and POP materials
Responsible for developing training plans for execution teams
Provides insights regarding points of sale internally to build brand plans
Intensive role involving visits to points of sale in both Metropolitan Region and other regions
**Qualifications & Experience Required**
+ Commercial or related degree; Commercial Engineer or Industrial Civil Engineer preferred
+ 1 or 2 years of experience in sales or point-of-sale management
+ Strong analytical skills and critical metric tracking capabilities
+ Interpersonal skills; ability to influence work teams and track projects
+ Proactivity
+ Requires travel within Chile
