Job Summary:

The Operation Excellence Specialist position is responsible to drive continuous improvement initiatives  using Lean Six Sigma.  This role is involved in planning, scheduling, and implementing continuous improvement activities (such as Kaizen) in our sustaining operation. This person will support the data analysis and reporting required to drive continuous improvement initiatives in the operation.  The daily and monthly reports that this position generates and maintains will be critical in our decision-making process.

The ideal candidate will have advanced Excel skills, PowerBI, ITIL methodology, Kaizen/LEAN tools, an analytical mindset, great attention to detail, and be comfortable dealing with high amounts of ambiguity.

Primary responsibilities include:

Identifying opportunities for process improvement, waste removal, and cost reductionPlanning, facilitating, and executing continuous improvement events using Lean Six Sigma toolsTeaching, leading, and coaching cross-functional teams on Lean Six Sigma tools and ITIL methodologyWorking to continuously improve processes both on the operation as well as transactional by collaborating with multiple cross functionsEffectively work in a matrixed organization, works well with others and can foster a team approach to develop solution Highly motivated individual to pursue positive change and work with employees in facilitating recommended changes.A successful OpX specialist has excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate with all levels of employees from upper management, operators, suppliers, customers and key stakeholders.Use data mining to extract information and identify patterns or trends for improvementsPublish monthly and ad-hoc reports for management teamApply data visualization and summarization techniques to communicate with all levels of employees from upper management, operations, customers, suppliers and key stakeholders.Seft starter with an above average understanding data integrity and data management systems.Light development coding, mostly developing visual and graphical reports analysis

About the ideal candidate:

Bachelor's in Information Technology, Mathematics, Management Information Systems (MIS), Statistics, or Business Administration or equivalent work experience.3-5+ years related technical experience on Kaizen and Lean methodology and 3+ years analytical experience in a reporting role3-5+ years related experience in driving process improvement projects, standardization of operations etc.Working knowledge on ServiceNow,  PowerBI, Advanced Excel, Tableue or other visualization toolsIntermediate knowledge of application coding and development lifecycle.Analytical: (e.g. comfortable with data) and can combine an understanding of business objectives, customer needs, and data required to deliver customer experience and business results.Willingness to continuously develop and acquire new technical skills, and learn new tools, AI & Big Data techniques.Proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity, and rapid change.Effective oral and written communication with the ability for analyzing, slicing, and dicing data while deriving significant insights.Natural curiosity and self-directed ability to seek out information and meet goals/deadlines.Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracyAbility to communicate well both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organizationKnowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniquesWorking knowledge on ITIL and Lean/Kaizen methodologyCertification on Lean Six Sigma is a plus.Amenable to work on a hybrid work setup in BGC Taguig. Mid-shift but must be flexible to handle other shifts if required.
