What You Will Do:

We are currently searching for an Operations Coordinator to provide administrative support to a high-volume clinical laboratory. This opportunity is with Guidehouse supporting the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and is located on-site in Bethesda, Maryland. This is a short-term engagement with an estimated duration of four (4) to four and a half (4.5) months.

Serve as one of the primary points of contact for visitors and clinical operations; handle requests for information.

Assist the Department with organizational tasks.

Maintain conference room calendar.

Provide clerical and administrative support and respond to customer needs.

Set up, organize, and maintain files and records.

Answer calls and route, in order to respond to customers and refer callers to the appropriate subject-matter expert.

Enter and retrieve computerized data and prepare correspondence and reports.

Complete forms and prepare memoranda and correspondence.

Conduct interviews with supervisors and employees to obtain information about organizational missions, function, and work procedures.


What You Will Need:

High School diploma required. 

Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing clerical, administrative, and operations support.

Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, WebEx).

Excellent communications skills, both oral and written.

Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.

Ability to interact with staff of all levels with utmost professionalism.

Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

Associate’s degree preferred. Bachelor’s degree highly desirable.

Experience working in a clinical or hospital setting, preferred.

Knowledge of NIH travel and procurement systems, desirable.

The annual salary range for this position is $56,000.00-$94,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
