D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for anOperations Coordinator in the Operations Department. The right candidate will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining various aspects of operations in the construction of single and multi-family homes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintain responsibility for the complete architectural plan approval process through various municipalitiesCoordinate with the consultants (architect, drafting, engineering, etc.) for the timely submission of plan approval and to work to ensure timely response to consultant’s questionsManage the division’s timely production of house product by implementing, maintaining, and monitoring construction using On-ScheduleMonitor On-schedule to make certain that data is properly enteredPull and provide reports to managementFollow processes and procedures to maximize resources to meet division goals and objectivesSet warranty walks and construction completion datesManage the “start” process – coordinate with Land Development, Permitting, Purchasing, Construction, Sales, and Operations departments to determine and begin the process of building homesEnsure the permits are secured through the various municipalities prior to home startsObtain expected closing dates from Construction management for all contracts. Update stages of completion and actual closing dates in the Homebuilders software system and Sales Report software as information is provided. Distribute the Stage Report to Construction ManagementFile (online) HOA and DCA information, plans, blueprints, original purchase agreements, closing disclosures, and lender lettersAssist in organizing and communicating the process from site plan approval to the start of new homesCoordinate kickoff meetings and handle preparation and coordination of model home parking, sales center and signage for all future and existing communitiesEnsure community HOA budgets and DCA submissions are submitted timelyEnsure blueprints are ready and site-specific in time for purchasing to bidProvide administrative operational support as neededAssist in other departments as neededDetermine the Lot-Fit/restriction of each unitOversee the entire Design Review process as may be required by various municipalitiesOversee model home/subdivision start-upFile all closing documents in the lot fileConducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAdditional duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Two to four years of related experience and/or trainingMust have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license Possess exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work well within a teamAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applicationsProficiency with MS Office and email

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferredJD Edwards experience a plusProvide attention to detail and manage multiple responsibilities communication skills

Compensation

Annual Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000, depending on qualifications and experienceCompetitive Bonus Structure
