**Operations Communications Specialist**
**Job Summary**
The Operations Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting the execution of Operations Communications’ strategy to engage and inform teammates across the business, with a particular emphasis on content development and writing. This individual brings a combination of creativity and proficiency in content creation and communications planning, support and delivery. This specialist possesses strong writing skills and an ability to distill complex ideas into understandable narratives for diverse audiences in a variety of formats. They equally thrive working independently and collaboratively, and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy, speed and adherence to company style.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Concept, research, write, edit and proofread engaging narratives in a variety of formats, including print, online and video, tailored for diverse
+ audiences.
+ Identify narratives that can advance understanding of key business objectives and initiatives to increase awareness and understanding
+ among key audiences.
+ Pitch, develop and produce impactful content that articulates Operations’ value and is aligned with the organization’s business priorities,
+ including news articles, email communications, infographics, executive biographies, presentations, talking points, executive speeches and
+ others.
+ Produce materials in a timely manner that are clear, concise and adhere to company and AP style. Support the distribution of approved work
+ products.
+ Contribute to the planning, development and maintenance of calendars, communications plans and other assigned projects, working both
+ independently and collaboratively to help the team achieve effective outcomes.
+ Ensure effective traffic management.
+ Support the planning and production of events such as Town Halls and Leadership Forums.
+ Update and maintain departmental collateral (e.g., video, print and electronic media, templates, team files)
**Job Requirements**
+ Minimum of three years of experience in a comparable corporate communications or public relations role
+ Exceptional written and oral communication skills with an ability to convey the bigger picture while not losing sight of essential details
+ Proven ability to produce content in a variety of formats with demonstrated flexibility to pivot approach when needed
+ Demonstrated creativity and ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced communications environment
+ Strong business acumen, sense of ownership and thirst for knowledge as a student of the business
+ Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
+ Highly organized with flexibility to adjust approach based on evolving needs and priorities
+ Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
+ Demonstrated commitment to accuracy and timeliness
+ Mastery of AP style
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel, with a working knowledge of SharePoint design
+ Willingness and ability to travel as needed
