Join Cleveland Clinic Akron General's Green Health and Wellness Center and become part of a top healthcare system in Akron. This patient-friendly facility offers a variety of primary care, emergency care and specialty services along with Lifestyles, a medically based fitness program and facility.
The Operations Attendant is responsible for the member entry process. You will be responsible for providing the highest quality services, exhibiting excellent customer service skills, and greeting all members and guests.
A caregiver in this position works Sundays from 1:00PM – 6:00PM and Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5:00PM – 10:00PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Greet by name and clear all members for club entry.
Maintain current information on all club programs, services and activities and promotes regularly.
Handle incoming telephone calls, takes accurate messages and distributes appropriately.
Register members and guests for appropriate programs according to established procedures.
Carry out all point-of-sale transactions according to established procedures.
Register all guests and make sure all paperwork is completed in full.
Wash, dry, fold, distribute and collect soiled towels as needed into the Lifestyles locker rooms.
Keep supply of paper and soap products stocked for member and guest use.
Complete any daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning assignments within their designated area.
Keep an accurate inventory of supplies and notify supervisor when additional supplies are needed.
Clean and inspect equipment (e.g., washers and dryers).
Report any necessary facility or equipment repairs to the supervisor and/or maintenance department.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Can multitask and work rapidly to meet deadlines
Can work variable hours
Basic computer proficiency

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
High School graduate or GED
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Customer service, housekeeping service or health club experience

Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
In some locations, ability to move up to 20 pounds
