Team Profile
The Client Service Group (CSG) within Asset Services is responsible for dealing directly with Clients and Business Units regarding Corporate Actions, Cash Dividends & Income for Global Markets on an event and client level. The team also provides support to operational processing groups - assisting with training requirements, complex corporate actions and future procedural and technical developments.
CSG provides an exciting opportunity to work in a fast paced and dynamic team; collaborate with processing teams in the US, Asia and EMEA markets to provide a high quality service to our clients. The team push for innovative methods of improving our services compared to market competitors. You will be exposed to daily interaction with the Trading Desks, Clients and our partners within International Prime brokerage. The team also provide dedicated support on the International Prime Brokerage (IPB) floor on a shift basis. The role also allows for participation in a wide range of process improvements and global projects.
Additional responsibilities include:
> Meeting with clients and Business Units to discuss complex Corporate Actions.
> Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and confidently to non-corporate action SMEs.
> Managing a variety of client service and risk issues directly with clients.
> Liaising with agent banks, registrars, and companies to fully understand the terms of events, including documentation and restrictions.
> Overseeing client service initiatives and process improvements by liaising with core processing groups and Business Units, delegating tasks, and communicating progress to interested parties Skills Required
> Strong analytical problem-solving skills
> Proven experience in corporate actions.
> Swaps Middle Office experience is an advantage.
> Knowledge of Equity and Bond products and global markets.
> Experience of US Tax preferable.
> Knowledge of DTC.
> Strong organisational and communication skills.
> Excellent client service approach.
> Capacity to understand and explain complex corporate action information.
> Ability to remain calm under pressure.
> Ability to develop and maintain relationships with the Business Units.
> Ability to coordinate and interact with processing teams globally.
> Adaptable to quickly changing needs and environment.
> Proven track record dealing with clients.
> Demonstrate capability to deliver projects and drive continuous improvement.
> Practised presenter.
