Work Experience
Key Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with SHECS policies and SimsMMway safety programs.Conduct safety checks, maintain SOPs, and report hazards.Support workers' compensation processes and documentation.Assist in supervising and training staff; maintain team productivity and morale.Help achieve production, quality, and inventory goals.Ensure compliance among contractors and service providers.Support Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement efforts.Maintain operational reports, systems accuracy, and timecard compliance.Operate equipment and attend operations meetings as required.Act as backup Supervisor when needed.Required Skills:Strong understanding of safety regulations and SHECS standards.Leadership, supervisory, and team development capabilities.Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and process improvement.Strong communication, organization, and reporting skills.Proficiency in operational systems and basic data analysis.Ability to manage timecards, inventory, and equipment use.Flexibility to take on various duties, including equipment operation and temporary supervisory roles.
The Operations Assistant Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day
operations of one or more of the following recycling or ITAD areas: material
handling, shredding, asset management, shipping and receiving, and
