**_This position is a hybrid role and will involve being on site for 3 days and remote for 2 days._**

**Main Responsibilities:**
+ This position is a manager role and covers a wide range of activities and projects. This position will support the VP/Head, Global Public Affairs, Specialty Care and the Global Public Affairs team.
+ This role will require a high degree of flexibility, judgment, and organizational & technical skills. The role will support patients' programming and Public Affairs team operations with budgeting, contracts, sponsorships and grants and other business critical activities, as deemed appropriate.
+ High level of interaction with Procurement, Legal. Finance, Compliance and Executive Level associates, both internally and externally.
+ Beyond coordination duties this position will require detailed project work for various members of the team. Projects may range from events management to budget tracking.
+ As a member of this team, cross-functional work with various franchises within the Specialty Care Global Business Unit will be essential to the role’s success.
+ Being flexible and adaptive will also be critical.
+ Punctual interaction with external partners (e.g. patient advocacy groups, patients/caregivers, and other PA stakeholders) to guide relevant processes.
+ Provides Glocal leadership and serves as the focal point for the Global and UK teams to manage contracts (over 45+ given the high volume of key global organizations based in the UK), reviews, sponsorships, annual disclosure requirements, internal control requests, and any project management needs.
**Project and Budget Management:**
+ Proactively manages budget tracking with Finance
+ Leads internal projects to report and track on team projects and team successes
+ Develops and manages agendas and action items for team meetings
+ Supports each team member on ongoing projects and on an as-needed basis. This might include, but is not limited to, vendor management. contract management, research and onsite support
+ Lead transversal projects for VP of Global Public Affairs, Specialty Care.
**Public Affairs:**
+ Responsible for coordinating all global public affairs internal patient awareness programs including lead coordination of engagement with patient speakers, and the contracting and logistics process
**Process Development and Tracking:**
+ Acts as focal point for the team to manage contracts, sponsorships, grants and any other projects management needs
+ Understands and follows internal processes to ensure all contracts are put in place at the appropriate time, this includes taking the lead to enter contracts into appropriate systems and proactively following them through the process from start to finish
+ Establishes and maintains good working relationships and internal networks specifically with Legal, Procurement, and Finance, with minimal direction.
**Communications and Reporting:**
+ Provide internal processes assistance to the Global Public Affairs team, based in Cambridge, MA, Washington, DC, Morristown, NJ, Key Markets and International.
+ Manages multiple, sometimes conflicting, priorities in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
+ Interfaces with staff and senior level managers, internal/external advocacy partners and vendors, demonstrating a positive presence and excellent support. Ensures smooth and efficient flow of day-to day operations.
+ Takes initiative and independently manages special/administrative projects in dynamic fast-paced environment.
+ Takes personal accountability to use personal experience and knowledge, as well as the training and tools provided by Sanofi, to maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all ethics and governance relevant to the role (including the UK Industry Code of Practice, Sanofi Policies and Procedures and any relevant legal requirements); and demonstrates personal leadership in applying these to all work undertaken. Completes a required UK training course.
+ Prioritizes and executes tasks with minimal direction or supervision. Handles confidential information
+ Leads internal reporting requests for senior leadership
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**About You**
**Experience:**
+ Minimum high school diploma with 7+ years professional experience in project management roles
+ Demonstrates proficiency in use of MS Office programs (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
+ Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
+ Must be detail oriented, rigorous, self-starter and be able to multi-task
+ Must be prepared to occasionally be flexible with work schedule to accommodate priority activities that may take place outside US working hours (to reflect UK time zone difference
+ Ability to manage projects independently, as well as coordinate with other team members
+ Strong technical expertise with the ability to learn new programs, applications, systems, etc. as needed and budget management
+ Ability to 'manage up' to supervisor and team members
**Professional Skills:**
+ Needs to handle complex and often confidential and sensitive information.
+ A working knowledge of UK regulatory guidelines, Medicines Act and the Human Medicines Regulations, ABPI Code of Practice and standard operating procedures, and experience of their implementation within the business environment is preferred but not required
+ A basic understanding of politics and policy is helpful.
+ Manages multiple, sometimes conflicting, priorities in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
+ Budget and contracts management experience
+ Provides a positive presence and excellent support in projects management.
+ Projects require skills, tact, persuasion and/or negotiation to meet deadlines with external stakeholders.
+ Interfaces with staff and senior level managers, internal/external advocacy partners and vendors. Ensures smooth and efficient flow of day-to-day operations.
+ Establishes and maintains good working relationships and internal networks with minimal direction.
+ Strong written English and proof-reading skills

The salary range for this position is:
$100,500.00 - $145,166.66
All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
