Operations Analyst Staff
**Description:** **Overview** You will be the Operations Analyst Staff for the Missiles and Fire Control Enterprise Industrial Engineering team\. Our team is responsible for applying manufacturing and Industrial Engineering concepts to support Advanced Programs \(AP\), and we're looking for a highly skilled and analytical individual to join our team\. **What You Will Be Doing** As the Operations Analyst Staff, you will be responsible for using discrete event simulation modeling to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes, with a focus on supporting Advanced Programs \(AP\)\. Your responsibilities will include conducting capacity analysis, span reduction, throughput analysis, and HPU reduction to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity\. **Your responsibilities will include:** \* Conducting capacity analysis to identify bottlenecks and optimize production workflows \* Performing span reduction analysis to streamline processes and reduce waste \* Conducting throughput analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize production rates \* Analyzing and reducing Hours Per Unit \(HPU\) to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs \* Applying Industrial Engineering concepts and principles to support Advanced Programs \(AP\) \* Collaborating with cross\-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize manufacturing operations \* Developing and maintaining discrete event simulation models to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes **Why Join Us** We're looking for a highly skilled and analytical Operations Analyst Staff to join our team\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\. **Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\.
