**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Clinical Informatics Electronic Health Record Optimization (CI EHRO) team is responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing optimization of HCA’s electronic health record (EHR) across diverse vendor platforms and software versions. As a key member of the CI Systems Usability team, the Operations Analyst II plays a vital role in designing and maintaining clinical decision support tools within the EHR to enhance usability, support clinical workflows, and improve patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Design, test, implement, and maintain new or modified clinical content and health information systems to support healthcare providers and patients.
+ Conduct workflow analysis and evaluate outcomes to ensure alignment with clinical goals and operational efficiency.
+ Apply clinical and operational knowledge to inform EHR development and usability improvements.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert for clinical documentation templates and content requests.
+ Facilitate and document clinical content reviews with advisory board leaders and business stakeholders.
+ Organize and lead advisory board meetings, including agenda development, documentation of outcomes, and follow-up actions.
+ Present data and clinical insights to drive discussions and decision-making within advisory groups.
+ Collaborate with leadership to ensure timely delivery of quality project outcomes and milestones.
+ Lead and document workflow sessions to assess the impact of EHR changes on physician documentation and ordering processes.
+ Provide operational support to field teams, including timely issue resolution and troubleshooting.
+ Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with corporate departments, division leaders, and facility teams.
+ Support clinical content integration within project plans and assist project teams as needed.
+ Research emerging tools and data sources to contribute to new clinical content development and product improvement.
+ Manage multiple concurrent tasks and adapt to evolving project demands in a fast-paced environment.
+ Communicate effectively with enterprise leaders, providing clear, decision-oriented content and updates.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree required
+ 3-7 years of relevant experience required
+ Clinical background (e.g., clinical/medical technician, Hospital experience) strongly preferred
+ Experience with EHR systems (e.g., Meditech, Epic, Cerner) and clinical decision support
+ Strong project management, communication, and facilitation skills
+ Ability to analyze workflows, synthesize complex information, and produce clear documentation
+ Comfort working in a highly collaborative, dynamic environment with multiple priorities
