Operations Analyst 3
Overview We are seeking a full-time Operations Analyst 3 in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and helping manage the complex implementation, maintenance and enhancements of systems, programs and processes used globally within the Operations department including working independently with Leadership, Product Support, IT, Operations, Finance and other departments to ensure that these applications are designed, built and used efficiently and effectively. Essential Functions Perform complex administration and troubleshooting of tasks and issues in multiple systems Act as point of contact for issues and inquiries for complex functionality questions and issues on multiple applications Lead discussions and projects regarding functionality, design, processes and procedures, and develop and document requirements for enhancements and new functionality Analyze and manage complex improvements or changes to multiple systems or processes Identify, research, and report system issues and needed enhancements and develop solutions to address, escalating only after extensive troubleshooting and analysis Communicate issues clearly and proactively to global stakeholders Partner with IT, Operations, Finance and other departments or resources internal or external to Garmin to find and validate solutions and process improvements Work collaboratively with global offices to ensure solutions are globally acceptable Partner with management to prioritize system issues and enhancements of competing impact and urgency Lead functional testing of patches, upgrades and enhancements for supported applications Perform user acceptance testing, release planning activities, provide global communication and training Develop and maintain business process flows, ISO procedures and administrative documentation in a timely and organized manner Develop and maintain expertise through training or certification Mentor lower level Operations Analysts Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide meaningful solutions Demonstrated ability to solve business problems using data analysis Demonstrated ability to manage global service center’s need by providing data and metrics Proactively engage with various business departments to align global service expectations Demonstrated knowledge of global business regulations in the regions of responsibility Represent the Global Service team in meetings requiring global service input Demonstrated ability to utilize analytical software tools and systems Bilingual in languages used in region of responsibility as required Travel to international locations Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or other relevant technical field from an accredited four-year college or university AND a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience Mastered all criteria from Analyst 2 role or demonstrated equivalent analyst experience and demonstrated expertise with multiple back-end systems such as order management systems, CRM Applications or reporting and tracking tools Demonstrated analytical thinking and experience Demonstrates proficiency using current relevant Microsoft Office applications Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment, possess a positive and respectful attitude and work professionally and respectfully with others Applies and demonstrates Garmin’s Mission, Vision and Values and looks for opportunities to help others and achieve goals considering the best possible solution for both internal and external customers and Garmin Listens and communicates professionally/effectively, demonstrates effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and shows willingness and ability to share information and ideas freely/positively Strong organizational, time management and follow-up skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced and challenging environment with minimal supervision Keen attention to accuracy, detail and quality Desired Qualifications Demonstrated analytical experience in preferred area of focus Previous experience functioning as a system administrator or primary stakeholder Demonstrated proficiency with data visualization and/or presentation of complex information to stakeholders Garmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
