SummaryThis position provides production with timely and accurate schedules, job packets, specs, and other reports necessary for production. This role is crucial in identifying spec scheduling problems and inconsistencies. Additionally, it supports all other clerical tasks, including department transfers and miss-punches, and provides Kronos support.
Key ResponsibilitiesReview and Reconcile: Daily review and reconciliation of production job packets.Inventory Monitoring: Monitor and reconcile raw materials, ingredients, and packaging inventory levels.Problem Resolution: Answer questions and assist in resolving issues related to production transactions, product, and recipe input.Report Management: Process, analyze, and distribute various daily and weekly reports while meeting set deadlines.Data Management: Enter and retrieve data from Ross daily; maintain production databases in Excel.Kronos Maintenance: Maintain data within Kronos to aid in plant reporting (Overtime lbs. man hour).Scheduling Assistance: Work with the scheduler to make necessary adjustments, print, and distribute the daily schedule.Liaison Duties: Assist Supervisors and act as a liaison as needed.Production Insight: Spend time in production to better understand the paperwork process.Clerical Support: Filing, organizing paperwork, and assisting co-workers as needed.RequirementsPrefer one year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months related experience or training.Must have the ability to work independently, thoroughly, and in a timely manner while maintaining a positive attitude.Must be able to work well with others.Must possess knowledge in Microsoft Excel such as formatting, page setup, printing, and basic formulas (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).Must possess basic knowledge in Microsoft Outlook such as sending emails, attaching files to outgoing emails, and opening emails and attachments.Must be able to take direction on different projects and be self-motivated to accomplish the task.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
