What this job involves –
Supports the operational technology networks that maintain critical infrastructure (such as but not limited to building management systems, lighting controls, nurse call and other facility related systems) across the organization's facilities. This role assists in connecting operational and information technologies, helping ensure Operation Technology systems remain secure, reliable, and efficient. The position supports system integrity, compliance requirements, and operational goals under the guidance of senior team members.
What is your day to day?
Network Infrastructure Support
Assist with Operational Technology equipment installation, configuration, and maintenanceSupport configuration and troubleshooting of network components including switches, firewalls, and virtual environmentsHelp maintain hypervisor environments under supervisionImplement established OT standards for network reliability and securitySupport infrastructure solutions that accommodate operational requirementsHandle and escalate OT system issuesSecurity and Risk Management
Assist with defining and implementing security measured for T networksSupport firmware and software updates across OT systemsHelp coordinate vulnerability assessments and patch implementationRespond to basic OT-related incidents and vulnerabilities with escalation as neededAsset Management and Documentation
Track OT network assets in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Document asset details according to regulatory and audit requirementsMaintain network configurations, system architectures, and recovery proceduresSupport the development and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Methods of Procedure (MOPs)Support change control processes and documentation standardsStakeholder Coordination
Communicate with operations, engineering, and IT departmentsHelp translate business requirements into technical specificationsMaintain professional relationships with vendors, contractors, and internal teamsSupport system enhancement priorities based on business needsParticipate in cross-functional activities for issue resolutionProject and Budget Management
Assist with OT-related projectsManage allocated budgets, resources, and timelinesCoordinate vendor activities and contractsWork with vendors and internal stakeholders to develop technical requirements for system changesDesired experience and technical skills
Required
Preferred
Associate's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, related field, or equivalent experiencePrevious experience in industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, or critical infrastructure environmentsBasic understanding of network systems, building automation, or facility management systemsExperience with asset management systems or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)Familiarity with project coordination or administrative support rolesBasic technical aptitude with willingness to learn specialized OT systems and protocolsExperience with inventory management or procurement processesIndustry certifications or willingness to pursue relevant trainingEstimated total compensation for this position:
100,000.00 – 120,000.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
