Job OverviewThis role of the Operational Strategy Project Manager centers on promoting effective teaching, coaching, auditing, and reinforcement practices. By working closely with business leaders and key stakeholders, they define the scope, objectives, and timeline of enterprise projects. Employing project management methodologies and tools, the Project Manager skillfully guides project teams to ensure successful outcomes. Additionally, they actively contribute to the improvement of business processes while supporting the Directors of Operational Strategy. Through their emphasis on teaching, coaching, auditing, and reinforcement, they create a culture of continuous learning and excellence within the organization.
Duties & Responsibilities Leads project planning, through collaboration with business leaders and key stakeholders; defining scope, objectives, and timelines for assigned projects; and executing project plans and determining resource needs. This step is performed on-site, in trade and remotely Manages and facilitates project teams by executing weekly status meetings, managing risks, actions, issues and decisions, capturing schedule changes, analyzing impact and work across areas to resolve any cross-functional change impacts, updating and communicating master plan changes and communicating project progress and status to all levels of management. Leads by utilizing project management methodologies and tools to effectively manage projects and deliver results. Assists Director of Operational Strategy in designing and improving business processes. This role will travel 40-50% of the time and be on-site at either office location or in the market. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Ability to analyze complex scenarios and make recommendations Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities and projects Ability to lead and influence without authority Strong working knowledge of MS Office including MS Project Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Knowledge acquired through 1 to 3 years work experience Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering or equivalent Project Management and/or Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt certification Work EnvironmentOffice environment
