Our Exciting Opportunity:
We are now looking for an Operational Sourcing Manager to be responsible with coordinating all stakeholders involved to secure efficiency, quality and compliance to the whole Purchase to Pay process. The role holder is acting as catalyst for improvement, efficiency and financial control and growth.
What you will do!
- Secures compliance, control, transparency and financial impact visibility from Purchase to Spend.
- Acts as expert within the assigned competence area.
- Proactively and reactively control and manage the E2E PtP process, by reviewing, analyzing, and reporting the Compliance and control Quality in the PtP unit and delivering actionable advice and recommendations based on findings in order to drive PtP performance of the organizational unit.
- Works with requisitioner to procure what is required, from the right supplier, at the right price, in alignment with category strategy.
- Checks the correctness of Purchase Requisitions placed by end users from a Financial & Sourcing point of view (catalog availability, correct ordering tool and flow used, correct category mapping, correct application of the Currency of Trade etc).
- Validates and supports end user to properly raise a compliant request in alignment with Sourcing strategy.
- Provides support, guidance and resolution of requests assigned to the department of which it is a part, requests sent by the end user through the system for creating work tickets My Support (Ariba Guided Buying and & SAP Business network 2nd line procurement support)
- Creates product catalogs necessary for the procurement process based on the requests assigned to the department of which it is a part, requests sent by the end user through the My Support work ticket creation system (Ariba Guided buying catalog management activities)
- Provides support, guidance and resolution of requests assigned to the department of which it is a part, requests sent by the end users through the system for creating work tickets My Support or to all the requests coming in the assigned mailbox, request related to supplier enablement activities coming from suppliers or Ericsson end users.
- Find gaps in process adherence and push business to change ways of working for new and existing processes.
- Proactively follow up the actions that need to be taken and updated by other units for achievement of KPI results.
- Drive actions to secure all participants in Compliance process performs their duties.
- Challenge existing process to find improvements and drive it to execution.
- Have a deep understanding of process methods and tools for assigned competence area.
- Monitor and control flow of requests accordingly to work instructions.
- Notify end-user/requestor of the status/resolution of the request.
- Provide reports to stakeholders and management.
You will bring!
- Bachelor’s degree
- Relevant experience in sourcing, PtP, finance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, Ariba Guided Buying would be a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, role has global exposure.
- Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
- Positive, flexible and collaborative behavior.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in change and improvement of work and processes.
- Basic project management knowledge and proved track record of handling simultaneous priorities.
- Business understanding of Sourcing Processes and Principles overall. Awareness of category management, Source to Agreement and Purchase to Pay principles & Wows is an advantage.
