Job Title: Operational Quality Manager
Salary: £84,800 - £95,000 depending on experience
Contract: Full time & permanent – if the ideal candidate is not local, relocation assistance will be considered within the UK
Location: Desford, Leicestershire
The Opportunity:
As Operational Quality Manager to lead the implementation of LEAN practices and drive continuous improvement across our operations. In this role, you will champion process discipline and quality excellence, directly impacting facility efficiency and product integrity. You bring a deep understanding of quality and LEAN principles, along with a proven ability to coach and inspire teams to achieve operational excellence.
What You Will Do:
As the Operational Quality Manager, you are accountable for, but not limited to:
Provide leadership to the quality team while supporting the wider operational goals of the business.
Apply your expertise in quality standards, LEAN principles, and process compliance to maintain high-quality outputs and meet regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement strategies to improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency using Six Sigma and LEAN methodologies.
Work closely with global teams to align quality initiatives and share best practices across regions.
Support the growth and development of team members to build a high-performing, quality-focused culture.

What You Can Demonstrate:
Quality Management – Expert: Leads the development and execution of quality strategies, integrating Lean, Six Sigma (MBB), and Industry 5.0 principles. Proven ability to drive continuous improvement through data-driven standards and advanced analytics.
Problem Solving – Expert: Resolves complex, cross-functional challenges using structured methodologies like 8D and Six Sigma. Coaches’ teams in root cause analysis and long-term solution design, ensuring sustainable outcomes.
Planning (Tactical & Strategic) – Extensive Experience: Designs and delivers strategic roadmaps for Quality and Lean transformation, aligned with business goals. Skilled in managing resources, dependencies, and future-focused initiatives.
Influencing – Extensive Experience: Builds alignment across diverse stakeholders through persuasive, data-backed communication. Influences decision-making at all levels, driving adoption of quality and operational improvements.
