Operational Procurement Buyer with German

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Buyer to join our European Procurement Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for P2P process by monitoring purchasing orders, ensuring timely deliverables, and resolving purchase requisitions. This role involves preparing reports, supporting optimization projects, invoices resolution and maintaining updated records to assure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Monitor purchasing orders in the system to ensure timely deliverables.
+ Resolve PRs with missing data within 48 hours to convert them to POs.
+ Prepare reports by extracting and analysing data for the purchase group, taking actions based on outcomes to assure KPIs.
+ Support procurement managers with optimization projects and simplifying processes.
+ Handle invoice resolution to ensure timely payments to suppliers and improve processes to avoid future issues.
+ Interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders for order fulfilment, including regular email exchanges, calls for escalations, and managing missing PO confirmations.
+ Arrange meetings for internal stakeholder alignments (e.g., with planning, quality, strategic sourcing, finance).
+ Manage past due POs by identifying them, contacting vendors to request timely deliveries, and educating suppliers on respecting need-by dates.
+ Manage pull-ins and push-outs as requested by planning to prevent disruptions, delays, downtime, and excess inventory.
+ Maintain updated ERP data and VMD records with current banking information or contact details.
+ Provide analyses such as supplier spend and purchase orders created when needed.
**Professional Skills and Knowledge:**
+ Proven experience in procurement (optimally direct).
+ Multiple task handling skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
+ Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, etc.).
+ Good problem-solving skills individually and within a team.
+ Detail-oriented with expertise in administrative processes and systems.
+ At least 2 years' experience in buying, especially in direct procurement, likely in a manufacturing area.
+ Understanding of procurement administrative work.
+ Experience in SAP
+ Very good level of German and English
