Operational Excellence Specialist 1
Join Emerson as an Operational Excellence Specialist I, where you'll drive quality, training, and continuous improvement initiatives to support the Measurement Solutions Customer Care and Operations Team for Latin America. In this role, you'll collaborate with various teams, applying LEAN, Six Sigma, and project management methodologies to enhance processes and optimize performance. **In this role, your responsibilities will be:** + Capturing and analyzing workflows, reports, and data to find opportunities for improvement and assess operational performance. + Collaborating with internal and cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective improvement plans. + Applying LEAN, Six Sigma, and project management methodologies to quality and continuous improvement initiatives. + Supervising the effectiveness of improvement plans and preparing comprehensive reports and presentations on findings and progress. + Conducting quality audits and ensuring compliance with established standards. + Supporting the creation and execution of new hire training and employee development programs, focusing on standard processes and key skills. + Assisting in organizing and delivering train-the-trainer programs and certifications for internal teams. + Supporting and participating in training sessions and workshops to foster a continuous improvement approach. **Who you are:** You are proactive and able to step up, to seize new opportunities, and to tackle challenges and unfamiliar tasks. You demonstrate strong presentation skills and excel at comprehending customer needs while customizing communications for different audiences. You thrive in collaborative environments, bringing to bear your people skills to build effective relationships. **For this role, you will need:** + A degree in Industrial Engineering, business, or a related field, as well as those with equivalent experience, will be considered. Advanced students are welcome to apply. + At least 1 year of combined experience in continuous improvement, quality, training, or project management roles or initiatives. + At least 2 years working on quote-to-cash related processes and systems. + Top-notch digital literacy, especially Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Advanced Excel. + Must have advanced oral and written English skills (B2 minimum). + Professional working proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese. **Preferred qualifications that set you a part:** + Experience in LEAN, Six Sigma, Agile, SAFe Agile (Scaled Agile Framework), and project management frameworks. + Professional working proficiency in both Spanish and Portuguese. **Our Culture & Commitment to You** At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
