Operational Excellence Manager

Everyone at Prysmian has the potential to make their mark; because whatever you do, wherever you are based, you will be part of a company that is helping transform the world around us._ **Principal Duties & Responsibilities:** This position requires up to 50% travel to Business Unit (BU) shared services sites across North America. + Lead the deployment of the regional **Operational Excellence (OpEx) Strategy, System, and Approach** within Shared Services, aligning initiatives with enterprise objectives and customer service expectations. + Drive the execution and effectiveness of the BU Operational Excellence framework across shared service functions (e.g., HR, IT, Finance, Procurement), including A3 problem-solving, continuous improvement (CI) funnel, Kaizen events, CI Councils, and KPI dashboards to support achievement of Hoshin Kanri goals. + Act as the subject matter expert in facilitating strategic planning and continuous improvement tools, including Hoshin Kanri, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Agile practices, Theory of Constraints, Lean Six Sigma, and Service Design methodologies that promote operational agility and employee empowerment across shared services. + Ensure consistency and maturity of **Daily Management Systems** within shared services teams (e.g., Tiered Communication, Leader Standard Work, Layered Process Audits, and 6S adapted to office/service environments). + Lead the development and delivery of the **Prysmian OpEx Certification Training Program** for shared services staff, including knowledge workers, administrative professionals, and managers. + Ensure sustainability and effectiveness of the certification process and provide ongoing coaching to maintain improvement capabilities within each shared service function. + Support and facilitate the **Operational Excellence Assessment (OEA)** to benchmark maturity against Prysmian standards and collaborate with leaders to create roadmaps for advancing service performance and efficiency. + Champion the sharing and standardization of best practices across Shared Services teams and with other Business Units, identifying scalable solutions and leveraging external benchmarks as needed. + Foster a culture of simplification, digital enablement, and process automation to reduce waste and accelerate service delivery across end-to-end value streams. + Provide regular reports and insights based on both qualitative and quantitative analysis of shared service performance indicators, identifying high-impact opportunities for transformation. **Required Competencies, Education, and Experience:** + Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field. + Minimum 4 years of experience leading cross-functional or shared services teams in an Operational Excellence, Process Improvement, or Service Delivery role. + Demonstrated application of **PDCA** methodology to drive improvements using Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma tools; Lean Master and Scrum Master equivalent certification required. + Proven ability to lead Kaizen in the office environment and manage improvement projects, meeting or adjusting timelines to deliver value-added outcomes. + Proficient in programing languages such as SQL and JavaScript. + Experience with process visualization and analytics tools such as **SharePoint, Power BI** , and statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) is a plus. + Strong analytical skills including experience with quality tools, statistical process control, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis. _Prysmian, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
