The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing mid-shift warehouse operations, ensuring productivity, safety, and team development. This role supports planning, training, and performance management while maintaining high standards in equipment and housekeeping.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in planning, organizing, and directing warehouse operations to ensure efficient mid-shift performancePromote and maintain high morale, work standards, and team developmentTrain, coach, and manage employee performance and engagementIdentify and resolve operational issues at the root levelEnsure compliance with federal, state, and company policiesMonitor and manage expenses within budgetSupport efforts to reduce employee turnover and minimize overtimeMaintain equipment and housekeeping standards in accordance with company expectationsMinimum Qualifications3+ years of relevant experience, including demonstrated leadership capabilitiesExperience operating warehouse equipmentProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask and make sound business decisions in a fast-paced environmentProven ability to engage and develop employeesPreferred QualificationsExperience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environmentsFamiliarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF technology, and labor management systemsSkilled in interviewing, coaching, performance evaluation, and documentationStrong focus on quality and continuous process improvementAbility to interpret and analyze operational dataPhysical RequirementsHigh-energy distribution center environmentOvertime required as needed
