Your role and responsibilities
Reporting to Large Azipod new build Operation Manager, you will contribute to the short-term and mid-term development plan of Large Azipod Operation. You will lead development projects to identify and capture operation improvement opportunities. By leveraging data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and Operational Excellence (OpEx) methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement), you will address complex operational challenges. Together, we will make the electrification, digitalization, and network connected future of maritime industry. You will be located in Vuosaari, Helsinki.
The work model for the role is: hybrid
This role is contributing to the Business Line Marine Propulsion, Marine and Ports Division in Finland. Main stakeholder is Large Azipod new build Operation.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Identify bottlenecks, risks, and improvement potentials by analyzing operation performance data together with different functions and stakeholders.
Lead and participate in key operational development initiatives aiming for enhancing customer satisfaction, cost, productivity, and delivery capability of Large Azipod operations.
Lead critical product ramp-up projects with the support of R&D, SCM and Production teams to ensure successful new product introduction.
Track project outcomes and report progress to the Operations Manager, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
B.Sc or M.Sc in Engineering
At least 5 years of experience in the industrial sector, marine or other related industry
Excellent project management and cross-functional coordination skills
We value a results-driven mindset paired with strong collaboration skills to succeed in this role
Impressive execution and problem-solving skills
Fluent in English, Finnish is seen as an advantage
